Jordan is pursuing dual degrees in Psychology and Biochemistry, as well as a minor in Medicine and Society.  He will be volunteering as a Career Services Associate for both the fall and spring semesters.

Josh Seager

Executive Officer - Joshua Seager

Joshua Seager is a fifth-year senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering.  His dream is to become a roller coaster designer.  Josh has been playing alto saxophone for 13 years and has been a member of The Marching Virginians for five years.  Music has always been a big part of his life between marching band, chorus, and even singing for a rock band back home.  He would like to give all the thanks in the world first and foremost to my savior Jesus Christ and also to his parents because without them he would not have had the support to play saxophone.
Jason Christensen

Instrument Supply Officer - Jason Christensen

Jason Christensen is a junior from Newport News.  He plans to graduate in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Jason plays Tuba in The Marching Virginians and also plays in the Hokies Basketball Pep Band and numerous other concert ensembles at Virginia Tech.  He is proud to serve as an officer in The Marching Virginians and hopes for a national championship football season!
Tim Coimbra

Librarian - Tim Coimbra

Tim Coimbra is from Woodbridge and will graduate this year with a dual degree in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics. If he's not studying, he can either be found with the MV Trumpets or with his brothers of Kappa Kappa Psi. When you are at the football games, Tim reminds you to remember two things: "Don't be a Jerk" and you're the pride of VPI.
Kate Pereira

Librarian - Kate Pereira

Kate Pereira is from Apex, NC. She plans to graduate from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and attend nursing school. Kate is a junior and entering her third year in The Marching Virginians. She is a member of the piccolo section. She also plays flute in the University Campus Band and is involved with Campus Crusades for Christ. Kate looks forward to being able to serve The Marching Virginians and is excited about another great season.
Brian Connell

Operations Officer - Brian Connell

Brian Connell grew up as a military brat roaming around the country, but now lives in Fredericksburg.  He is currently pursuing a degree in Biomechanics in the ESM Department and hopes to one day build better medical devices for those who have lost limbs or sustained serious injury.  Music helps him keep his sanity and when he isn't doing things for or with the MVs he's singing a capella or just relaxing.
Jessica Johnson

Operations Officer - Jessica Johnson

Jessica Johnson is a 2nd year graduate student at Virginia Tech and is a proud member of the VT Drumline. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management in 2006 and plans to graduate with her Masters of Business Administration this upcoming spring. She works as a Graduate Assistant in the MBA and International Programs Office. This is her fifth year as a member of The Marching Virginians and she looks forward to another great season.
Alison Wood

Personnel Officer - Alison Wood

Alison Wood is a junior from Richmond and a member of the baritone section. She is working on dual degrees in Spanish and Public and Urban Affairs with a concentration in Public and Non-Profit Management, and hopes to graduate some day. Ali enjoys dancing with the VTONES at football games, wearing sandals to practice, pretending she didn't hear the five-minute whistle, and playing the Stupid Ninja Game.
Sarah Hangsleben

Public Relations Officer - Sarah Hangsleben

Sarah Hangsleben is a senior from Woodbridge and is a member of the VT Pix. She will graduate this spring, after only four years, with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, concentrating on PK-6 Education, and three minors. She is also an officer in Tau Beta Sigma, the honorary music sorority, and an RA in Slusher Tower. Sarah is looking forward to a fabulous senior year which will hopefully include a trip to New Orleans in January!
Natalie Madeja

Service Officer - Natalie Madeja

Natalie Madeja is a junior from Pittsburgh, PA. She plans to graduate from Virginia Tech with a degree in Mathematics, attain a masters degree in education, and pursue her dream of becoming a high school math teacher. Natalie plays the tuba in both The Marching Virginians “super VTubas section” and the university concert bands. She is a prideful member of the Hokie Ambassador’s organization, Campus Crusade for Christ, NLCF, and the Virginia Tech Math Club.  Natalie fell in love with The Spirit of Tech before attending the university, and looks forward to serving the band during another great season.
Shannon Snyder

Treasurer - Shannon Snyder

Shannon Snyder is a senior from outside of Boston, MA.  She will graduate this spring with dual degrees in Animal and Poultry Sciences and Agriculture and Applied Economics.  This is her fourth year with The Marching Virginians and her second year in the clarinet section.  She also loves her position as the Vice President of Tau Beta Sigma, the band service sorority.  She hopes to go to veterinary school after graduation.
