Return to New Orleans

A group of 15 students will be traveling to New Orleans in late May to continue the clean-up and rebuilding efforts. The group includes veterans of the November 2005 MV/YMCA trip as well as first-time volunteers.

Larissa Mihalisko is leading the trip, and the group will be working on several projects during the week which may include rebuilding a church and several homes, and doing some neighborhood clean-up with the Lower Ninth Homeowners Association. The budget is $3000, which includes the cost of transportation, food, shelter, and a donation to the host site in New Orleans. We'd like to defray the full cost for the students.
